Giving to the MCYC
Thank you for your tax-exempt donation to help the MCYC continue to fulfill its mission!
The Milton Community Youth Coalition (MCYC) is dedicated to preventing young people from abusing alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. MCYC educates students, engages families, and mentors youth. Last year, with our community partners, MCYC reached over 1100 children, teens, young adults, and families throughout Milton through the following programs:
• MCYC taught 512 students in elementary and middle school health classes about the dangers and the impact of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.
• Last fall, we had over 500 people in attendance at the Milton Community Activities Fair which invites community members to become involved in over 50 local service and non-profit organizations.
• 135 people participated in the Milton Girls Day which encourages girls in 3rd-8th grade to connect with the important women in their lives to nurture their interests.
The Milton Community Youth Coalition is largely funded by state, federal and foundation grants. We are fortunate to have such great supporters of prevention here in Milton!
